How does it work?

Great question! The way that it works is that we meet up once a week, for one hour, for a total of eight weeks. During that hour, I go over and demonstrate how to conduct the commands for the week with your dog. After the demonstration, I then hand your dog back to you for you to emulate the motions and gestures performed in the demonstration. Once you and I agree that you feel comfortable with the commands, then I will demonstrate the homework for the week. This homework is designed to ensure progress with each command for each week. This way it gets you and your dog more and more proficient each day as well as working more for verbal and physical praise rather than treats.

Get my dog to work for praise and not treats? How do you do that?

Another great question! This is achieved by meeting certain goals each day. Once you meet or exceed the goal for the day, then you know you and your pet are ready to move on to the next day's training sessions and goals. By meeting or exceeding each day's goals, ensures progress for each command and gets your dog used to working more for verbal and physical praise rather than treats. By the end of the week, you and your pet will be proficient with the commands, working for verbal and physical praise, as well as being able to hold the command for a good amount of time and from a distance from you.

That sounds awesome! Where or how do I sign up?

These are some great questions! As you scroll down the page, you will see the different courses we offer. We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to the Inception K9 Academy family.

Puppy Training Course $750

Our Puppy Training Course is one of the most advanced obedience courses of its kind. This puppy training course is for puppies 18 weeks to a year old. In this course you will learn everything you need to know about your puppy (crate training, potty training, nipping/biting, exercise, nutrition, grooming, etc.), cover everyday basic obedience commands (sit, down, heel, loose leash walk, wait, leave it/drop it, come, etc.), as well as other commands both on and off-leash. For this course, we will meet up for a one-hour a week for eight weeks.

Dog Training Course $750

Just like our puppy training course, our Dog Training Course is also one of the most advanced dog obedience courses of its kind. This course is for dogs one year and older. The course covers everyday basic obedience commands (sit, down, heel, loose leash walk, wait, leave/drop it, come, etc.) as well as other commands both on and off-leash. The course will also cover nutrition, health, and address any other at-home issues that may arise during the dog training course. For this course, we will meet for one hour a week for eight weeks.

Off-Leash Course $750

Our Off-Leash (E-Collar) Dog Course is designed for those pet owners who want to take their dog training to the next level. It is an advanced course that is designed to help control your pet during off-leash situations. Some of the situations in which you can use an e-collar are playing at the park/beach, hiking, personal protection, or just everyday obedience commands in and out of the home. With our off-leash course, we ensure that you receive the proper training on how to utilize your e-collar as well as provide the utmost safety for your pet.

Our GSP, Mojo, responded so well to Brandon's training methods. We highly recommend Inception K9 Academy to anyone who is serious about having a well trained, happy dog. - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Highly recommended! We enrolled Chance to Inception K9's Basic obedience course. Chance is a playful, fun-loving, high-energetic pup. Walking and taking him to public places (parks and such) was always a challenge. That is when we inquired with Brandon. From day 0 to graduation, Brandon showed utmost professionalism. He's accommodating and available for questions throughout the week. He understands life happens and schedules often change, we were able to reschedule appointments when we asked as long as you give him a heads up with an appropriate amount of time. That shows flexibility. He is friendly and listened to what issues and concerns we had throughout our training, and offered alternative ways to help improve the issues we were having. After graduating, Chance has learned all commands, and taking him out is so much easier. Thanks, Brandon! - Paradise Hills, San Diego, CA
