AFTER THE PUPPY IS SPOKEN FOR

The family still has to get the puppy home.

A buyer in another state has chosen one of your puppies. Then they ask how the puppy gets there. Five hundred miles is a long drive for a new family. A thousand miles is usually a flight. Two thousand miles is a plan most breeders would rather hand off. You may already work with a ground transporter or a flight nanny, or you may tell buyers to arrange delivery themselves. Those answers hold until the usual person is booked, the route doesn't fit, or the family wants to set the trip up on their own.

PetWorks is a transportation resource for that moment. You give the buyer your code and point them to pet transport professionals who quote the actual trip. The code takes a discount off the booking. You remain the breeder, and you can see which clients booked with it.

WHAT YOUR BUYERS CAN BOOK

They choose the professional and the trip. The booking stays between the buyer and the transporter.

Ground transport

Pet transport professionals quote pickup, drop-off, and timing for that drive. A fit when the trip is too far for the family and a flight is the wrong answer for that puppy. See pet transport.

Flight nannies

A person who flies with the puppy. For buyers who want someone accompanying the dog, and for routes where ground transport doesn't make sense. See flight nannies.

A quote for that route

Transport listings use a custom quote, written for the dates, the distance, and the puppy. A family traveling 1,200 miles from your kennel gets a price for that trip.

HOW IT WORKS

1

You get a code, and a free account

We set up a discount code that's yours alone. We also invite you to a free PetWorks account, where bookings made with that code show up. There is no membership fee.

2

You give the code to the family

A line in the email you already send, or in your puppy packet, plus a link to pet transport. They enter your code when they book.

3

They book, and you can see it

The discount comes off their trip. Quotes, deposits, and timing stay between them and the transporter. Your account shows which clients used your code.

WHY PETWORKS

A resource you can hand a family with a straight face.

These are independent professionals with their own listings. What they share is how a booking works on PetWorks.

Every pro is vetted

Identity verification through Stripe, displayed credentials, and booking history on every listing, so a buyer can see who they are talking to before they commit.

Background checks through Checkr

Pros can carry a Background Checked badge. Buyers see that standard on the listing before they request a quote.

Priced for the actual trip

Pet transport uses a custom quote. The professional sets the price after they understand the route, the dates, and the puppy, then the buyer pays through PetWorks.

Backed by Care Coverage

Secure payments, dispute resolution, a full refund when a pro cancels a confirmed booking, and a real concierge team the buyer can talk to. Learn more about Care Coverage.

WHAT THIS ASKS OF YOU

Your process stays the same.

Alongside the transporter you already use

When that person can take the trip, keep using them. PetWorks covers the dates and routes they can't, and the buyers who want to arrange transportation themselves.

Nothing to invoice

The buyer pays the transport professional. Your kennel does not get a bill, and there is no membership fee to send someone our way.

A free account for the tracking

The account is there so you can see which clients booked with your code. You are not listing your kennel, and there is no fee to keep the account.

You stay out of the trip

Once the buyer is on PetWorks, the transporter handles the quote, the timing, and the handoff details with them.

For rescues & shelters

The same handoff, when a dog is going to a home in another state.

Placements that cross the country already include a transportation question. You can point adopters to PetWorks the same way a breeder points a puppy buyer.

  • Your own discount code. Adopters enter it when they book, and the trip costs less. A free account shows which placements used it.
  • The adopter books and pays. The transport professional quotes that route. Your organization is not the customer, and there is no fee for the account.
  • Useful when the usual ride can't go. A volunteer driver or a partner transporter covers a lot of placements. PetWorks is there for the ones they can't.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do we have to become PetWorks members?
No paid membership. We'll invite you to a free account so you can see which clients booked with your code. You don't list your kennel, and you don't pay a fee.
What does the discount code do?
Each kennel gets its own code. Your buyer enters it when they book, and the trip is discounted. Bookings that use your code show on your free account, so you can see which clients used it.
Do we pay anything?
No. The account is free. The buyer pays the transport professional through PetWorks, with your discount applied. Your kennel is not invoiced. Bookings include Care Coverage, which the buyer pays at checkout.
What do we tell the buyer?
Send them to pet transport on PetWorks and give them your code. A simple line is enough: "If you need help getting your puppy home, request a quote on PetWorks and enter our code when you book." Flight nannies are listed separately at flight nanny. We'll draft that sentence with your code filled in.
What if we already have a transporter we like?
Keep using them. PetWorks is there for the trips that person can't take, and for buyers who want to arrange transportation themselves.
What kinds of trips can buyers book?
Ground pet transport, flight nannies, pet relocation, and puppy transportation. The professional writes a custom quote for that route and those dates, so the price matches the trip.
Who are the transport professionals?
Independent professionals with their own listings, not PetWorks employees. Identity is verified through Stripe, credentials and booking history show on the listing, and pros can carry a Background Checked badge through Checkr. Bookings paid on PetWorks are backed by Care Coverage: secure payment, a concierge team, and a full refund if the professional cancels a confirmed booking.
Can rescues and shelters use this too?
Yes. Rescues and shelters get the same thing: a discount code for adopters, and a free account to see which placements booked with it. Tell us how you place dogs and we'll follow up.

Tell us how you place puppies.

We'll reply with a discount code for your buyers and an invite to the free account where you can see who uses it.

We'll only use this to follow up about transportation for your buyers.
