The breed

The Japanese Spaniel, more commonly called the Japanese Chin, is a small, elegant toy dog with a distinctive flat face, large dark eyes, and a soft, silky coat. Its feathered ears, tail, and legs give it a refined, almost aristocratic appearance. Typical colors include black and white or red and white, often with symmetrical facial markings.

Japanese Spaniels are generally gentle, affectionate, and alert companions. They are known for their catlike grace, often enjoying high perches and using their paws expressively. Though usually quiet and polite indoors, they can be playful and spirited with familiar people. Their sensitive, charming nature and devoted personality have made them longstanding companion dogs.

Are you looking for a small companion to share quiet time and play at home? Consider the Japanese Spaniel for this role.
