The breed

The Morkie is a small designer dog created by crossing a Maltese with a Yorkshire Terrier. It usually has a compact body, dark expressive eyes, and a silky or slightly wavy coat that may be black, tan, white, cream, or a mix of these colors. Its ears can stand upright or fold over, giving each dog a somewhat individual look.

Morkies are often lively, affectionate, and strongly attached to their people. They tend to be playful and confident despite their tiny size, with the alert, curious nature often associated with terriers. Many enjoy attention and companionship, and they can be quite expressive or vocal when excited, watchful, or eager to interact.

Are you looking for a tiny companion to brighten your home with playful energy? Consider a Morkie for a lively little dog that loves being close to its people.
