The breed

The Japanese Chin is a small, elegant toy dog with a refined, almost catlike appearance. It has a broad, rounded head, large dark eyes, a short muzzle, and feathered ears. Its silky, straight coat forms a noticeable mane around the neck and comes in combinations of white with black, red, or sable markings. The tail is plumed and carried over the back.

Japanese Chins are generally gentle, affectionate, and charming companions. They often form close bonds with their families and may be reserved but polite around unfamiliar people. Known for their playful, graceful mannerisms, they can be lively in brief bursts and calm for much of the day. Their expressive faces and sensitive, observant nature give them a distinctive, dignified personality.

Are you looking for a small companion to relax with you at home? Consider a Japanese Chin for that charming role.
