The breed

The Chihuahua is one of the smallest dog breeds, with a compact body, alert expression, and large, upright ears. Its head is often described as apple-shaped, though some have a longer, deer-like profile. Chihuahuas may have either a smooth, short coat or a longer, soft coat, and they appear in many colors and patterns. Despite their tiny size, they carry themselves with noticeable confidence.

Chihuahuas are lively, expressive, and strongly attached to their favorite people. They are often bold and curious, sometimes acting much larger than they are. Many enjoy attention and can be playful, watchful, and vocal. Their personalities vary widely: some are outgoing and sociable, while others are more reserved around unfamiliar people or animals.

Are you looking for a tiny companion to keep you company at home and on the go? Consider a Chihuahua for that role.
