The breed

The Welsh Terrier is a compact, sturdy dog with a wiry coat that is usually black-and-tan or grizzle-and-tan. It has a square, balanced outline, a longish head, folded V-shaped ears, and a distinctive beard and eyebrows that give it an alert, expressive look. Its rough outer coat contributes to its classic terrier appearance.

Welsh Terriers are lively, confident, and curious, with the bold spirit typical of terriers. They are often affectionate and playful with their families, while remaining watchful and independent-minded. Intelligent and energetic, they enjoy activity and can be determined when interested in something. Their bright, spirited personality makes them engaging companions.

Are you looking for an energetic companion for walks, games, and outdoor adventures? Consider a Welsh Terrier for this active role.
