The breed

The Skye Terrier is a long, low-set dog with an elegant but sturdy outline. Its most distinctive feature is its flowing, straight coat, which parts down the back and can come in shades such as black, gray, cream, fawn, or blue. The breed has a long head, feathered ears that may stand or fold, and a plumed tail. Despite its small height, it has a dignified, substantial appearance.

Skye Terriers are generally loyal, calm, and devoted to their families. They often form especially close bonds with one person and may be reserved around strangers. Their terrier heritage can make them alert, determined, and quietly confident. While they are not usually as boisterous as some terriers, they retain a brave, independent character and a watchful nature.

Are you looking for a small companion to share quiet time at home? Consider a Skye Terrier for that dignified, affectionate presence.
