The breed

The Tibetan Spaniel is a small, elegant dog with a slightly longer-than-tall body, a silky medium-length coat, and a feathered tail carried in a curl over its back. Its expressive dark eyes, short muzzle, and mane-like ruff around the neck give it a distinctive, lion-like appearance. Coat colors and markings vary widely.

Tibetan Spaniels are bright, alert, and affectionate companions with an independent streak. They are often devoted to their families while remaining somewhat reserved around unfamiliar people. Originally valued as watchful companions in Tibetan monasteries, they tend to be observant and quick to notice activity around them. Their playful, confident nature is balanced by a calm, dignified demeanor.

Are you looking for a small companion that keeps watch from a windowsill and enjoys family time? Consider the Tibetan Spaniel for that role.
