The breed

The Puli is a distinctive Hungarian herding dog known for its long, naturally corded coat, which can resemble thick ropes or dreadlocks. Most are black, though gray, white, and cream shades also occur. Beneath the unusual coat is a compact, athletic, square-built dog with a lively expression and a tail that curls over the back.

Pulis are alert, energetic, and intelligent dogs with strong herding instincts. They are often devoted to their families and can be playful, curious, and surprisingly agile. Their watchful nature may make them reserved around unfamiliar people, while their quick minds and independent streak give them a spirited, confident character.

Are you looking for an agile companion for active days and outdoor adventures? Consider the Puli for this role.
