The breed

The Mastiff is a giant, powerfully built dog with a broad head, short muzzle, deep chest, and thick, muscular body. Its coat is short and dense, commonly seen in fawn, apricot, or brindle shades with a darker mask around the face. Despite its imposing size, the Mastiff often has a gentle, expressive appearance.

Mastiffs are generally calm, dignified, and deeply devoted to their families. They tend to be affectionate and patient with familiar people, while their naturally watchful nature can make them reserved around strangers. Often quiet and steady rather than highly energetic, they are known for a courageous, loyal temperament and a strong protective presence.

Are you looking for a giant companion with a calm, watchful presence at home? Consider a Mastiff for that role.
