The breed

Labrador Retrievers are medium-to-large, strongly built dogs with a broad head, expressive eyes, and a friendly, alert expression. Their short, dense double coat is water-resistant and commonly appears in black, yellow, or chocolate. They have sturdy legs, a thick “otter” tail, and webbed feet that reflect their history as retrieving dogs in and around water.

They are widely known for their outgoing, affectionate, and eager-to-please nature. Labrador Retrievers are typically social with people and often enjoy the company of other dogs. They tend to be enthusiastic, playful, and intelligent, with a reputation for patience and steadiness. Their cheerful personalities and strong desire to participate in family activities have made them one of the best-known dog breeds.

Are you looking for an active companion for outdoor adventures or retrieving work? Consider a Labrador Retriever for that role.
