The breed

The Goldendoodle is a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle, often recognized for its soft, wavy or curly coat and teddy-bear-like expression. Sizes can range from small to large depending on the Poodle parent. Coat colors vary widely, including cream, gold, apricot, red, chocolate, black, and parti patterns. Their build is usually athletic and balanced, with floppy ears and an expressive face.

Goldendoodles are generally known for being friendly, social, and affectionate. Many are playful and energetic, enjoying time with people and often getting along well with children and other animals. They tend to be intelligent and eager to participate in activities, reflecting traits commonly associated with both parent breeds. Individual personality, coat type, and size can vary considerably.
