Pet Spotlight: Meet Medic

Meet Medic

Meet Medic: The Blanket-Loving Beach Pup of Ocean Shores! Nestled along the scenic Washington coastline, Medic is a special rescue dog with a heart full of love and a personality that shines. Rescued from Idaho at just 19 months old, Medic will celebrate his seventh birthday this May. Since his arrival in Washington, he has embraced coastal life, filling each day with adventure, affection, and a little bit of stubborn charm.

Medic is, without a doubt, a devoted Momma’s boy. He adores his human family and insists on being completely covered in blankets whenever he sleeps, earning him the title of a true “blanket baby.” His love for warmth and security only adds to his sweet and quirky personality.

A seasoned traveler, Medic delights in exploring new places and making human friends wherever he goes. While forming canine friendships can be a bit tricky for him, he has a trusted circle of companions…Fiona, Maggie, and a gentleman friend…who appreciate his unique nature. Their bond is a testament to the special connections that make a dog’s world complete.

Living by the beach has its perks, and Medic takes full advantage of them. When the weather permits, he enjoys daily walks on or near the shore, where he relishes the fresh ocean air and the excitement of running into his favorite people. Rainy days may keep him indoors, but they never dampen his adventurous spirit and positive canine behavior!

Dog BehaviorWith his loving heart, undeniable intelligence, and endearing quirks, Medic is truly one of a kind. His story is a beautiful reminder of the joy and companionship that rescue dogs bring into our lives. Here’s to many more years of beachside adventures, cozy blanket naps, and cherished moments with his family and friends! Petworks is lucky to have Medic and his human family as part of our pet care community.
