Yes. Most nutrition consults booked on PetWorks happen by video or phone, so you can take clients anywhere in the United States and Canada rather than only in your own city.

Do I set my own pet nutrition consult prices?

You do. You build your own packages - a single consult, a follow-up, or a full diet plan - and set the price for each. Pet parents book and pay on PetWorks, and your earnings are paid out to your bank.

How much does it cost to list my pet nutrition practice?

Pro membership is free once you're approved. Optional Featured and Premium subscription upgrades are paid. When a pet parent books a consult through PetWorks, we withhold 15% as a booking fee (e.g. on a $100 consult, you receive $85). On larger bookings the fee is 15% on the first $1,000 + 3% on every dollar over $1,000.

How do I get pet nutrition clients on PetWorks?

A pet parent finds your listing, picks one of your packages, and pays for it up front, and the booking arrives in your PetWorks inbox with their pet's details and what they are worried about. You confirm, hold the consult by video or phone, and mark the booking complete when you are done. If someone needs something outside your packages, you can send them a custom quote instead. When do I get paid?

When a pet parent pays - whether they book a package or pay a custom quote - their card is charged through Stripe and your earnings are paid out to your bank automatically. Funds often arrive within a few business days; your first payout may take longer while Stripe verifies your account. Premium members with instant payouts may receive funds sooner.

How do pet parents pay me?

Once you enroll in online payments, pet parents book you online using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Affirm, and Klarna. Our payments are powered by Stripe.

Can I take pet nutrition clients outside my own area?

Yes. PetWorks covers the United States and Canada, and because most nutrition consults happen by video or phone, you are not limited to pet parents near you - you can take clients anywhere we operate.

Why list my pet nutrition practice on PetWorks?

Because pet parents come here when their dog or cat needs a real diet plan, not another bag of food - so the people reading your listing are already looking to pay for clinical nutrition help. You set your packages and prices, consult from anywhere, and get paid through the platform.

How do pet parents find PetWorks?

Mostly Google and ChatGPT. A pet parent searches for what they need - "pet transport to Florida", "animal chiropractor near me" - and a PetWorks category or listing page comes up, or they ask an AI assistant to help them find a pro and it sends them here. Either way they arrive already looking to hire, which is why your photos, your description, and your reviews do so much of the work once they land on your listing.

Can I join PetWorks without using your payment system?

You cannot list your pet care services with PetWorks without enrolling in our payment system.

Can I create a listing if I'm not in the U.S.?

Yes, if you're in Canada! We currently welcome pet pros and pet parents in the United States and Canada. For this reason, we're only looking for pet lovers in the U.S. and Canada to join us (for now!)

The PetWorks platform is nationwide, but our corporate offices are in Westport, Connecticut.
