Whiskers, Tails & Scales Transport - Pet Transportation - Nationwide
Hope all is well. My name is Melissa. I am the owner of Whiskers, Tails & Scales Transport, LLC.
(Reviews are in no particular order and are from different platforms.)
My regular rate is $.85 per mile plus a $50. handling fee.
I also offer Afterpay. Pay in 4 installments, every 2 weeks. Interest Free
I am a Licensed LLC., Fully Insured (yes, your fur-baby, purr-baby or scaly-baby is covered with pet insurance in my care) and I am USDA Certified with a Class T license to transport animals under the Animal Welfare Act (7 U.S.C. 2131 et seq.) I am also certified by American Red Cross in Cat & Dog First Aid.
I know you need top priority service for your fur-baby(s), purr-baby(s) or scaly-baby(s). I offer GPS tracking the entire ride of the transportation process.
Handling Fee - All inclusive in quoted price. Upon pickup, you will receive a GPS link to track our travels until we arrive to our final destination. The care services that come along with the transport are: (i.e. stopping every 3-4 hrs., providing pictures and video updates, feeding, changing their wee-wee pads and/or walking, cat box cleaning, cleaning up vomit if they get car sick, making sure they stay hydrated while on their travel(s), and most of all, human interaction and love to make it less traumatizing on them).
I temporarily (for the ride only) provide crates:
Small (up to 15 lbs - 21" L x 16" W x 15" H)
Medium (25 lbs to 30 lbs - 28" L x 20.5" W x 21.5" H)
Large (50 lbs - 70 lbs - 36" L x 25" W x 27")
XLarge (70 lbs to 90 lbs - 40" L x 27" W x 30)
XXLarge (90 lbs to 125 lbs - 48"L x 32"W x 35"H)
I supply wee wee pads, poopy bags, blankets, pillows, wipes, filtered water, food (but recommend familiar food to them to be sent along with travel), harnesses, leashes and seatbelts (USDA regulations require all pets in a crate during travel), treats (if approved by breeder and/or client) You are more than welcome to provide these items along with your pet(s) for their travel also.
We are very particular with all pets. All crates are sanitized after every use. We take strict care in maintaining cleanliness to prevent Canine Parvovirus, E.coli bacteria, viruses and contamination. Our veterinary approved disinfectant is an EPA approved hospital grade cleaner. It is used in many of the world’s leading veterinary hospitals and zoological institutions as well as by leading reptile, avian and exotic pet breeders and keepers.
I love animals and even though I can't have them all, but I can enjoy yours for the short period of time we spend together.
Do you have any questions for me to make this process easier for you? Besides love, are there any special requirements? I have all options available.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
You can determine if your pet is dehydrated by pulling up on the skin between their shoulder blades. Upon letting go, the skin should spring right back in place. If it stays tented this can be a sign of dehydration.
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
I truly love and enjoy working with animals. I love to see the expressions of happiness on the new fur-baby's parent(s) faces when they meet for the 1st time.
