Reiki and/or IET (Integrated Energy Therapy) is available for you and your animal family! I also offer canine massage and red light therapy in addition to energy healing as part of your pet’s holistic care.
**NOW OFFERING HOLISTIC PET BOARDING in my home on the Mesa in Yucca Valley. I only take in a few dogs (and have 1 cat room) at a time, so schedule early for your pet’s holistic Retreat stay.
Everyone experiences stress. Our cats and dogs naturally take that in through their shared journeys with us. Sometimes they develop behavioral and/or physical symptoms, just as humans do. We offer a unique variety of holistic services to support you and your animals: behavior coaching, energy healing (Reiki & IET), canine massage, and flower essence guidance.
Shawna has a background in Psychology, earning her B.A. from West Chester University and going on to work with adults & children with mental illness, traumatic brain injuries, and autism. After obtaining her dog obedience certification from Animal Behavior College, Shawna traveled the country to study with dog trainers and behaviorists to delve deeper into the world of dog psychology. A Reiki Master-Practitioner (Usui System of Natural Healing), Shawna’s energy healing complements her work as a Certified Canine Massage Therapist (Equissage). Her experience with her personal "cat pack" as well as her volunteer work with Stray Cat Blues, have supported her studies with Animal Behavior Institute, where she obtained her certification as a Feline Training & Behavior Specialist. She has experience assisting owners during end-of-life care and euthanasias for dogs/cats, and has taken several courses in the Animal Loss & Grief Support Professional Program of Study with Teresa Wagner.

I have studied with mentors around the United States as well as having taken certification courses in dog & cat behavior and canine massage. I am a Reiki Master Practitioner and have continued to study natural healing independently.
What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
Listen to what your animal is telling you by being present with them and allowing them to show you what they need.
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
I am passionate about helping people and their animals to find peace, healing, & overall wellness. As an intuitive empath who connects with animals in a spiritual way, I enjoy helping pet parents understand their animals better, creating deeper and more intimate relationships for all.
