My name is CJ, I graduated college with a focus on Human Services and Psychology. I decided that I wanted to implement my fascination with behavior and learn Dog Behavior as well. I started out as a pet sitter and then went to a professional dog training school and got my Certified Dog Trainer credentials along with my Trick Dog Instructor credentials and Family Dog Mediation credentials. I am now currently working on Canine Nutrition certifications. I am also a Certified PetSitter and have passed animal first aid.

I have worked with people and kids with disabilities and also understand PTSD and people with Brain Injuries.

I have been extremely lucky to have built a reliable clientele that has supported my business for the last 3 years. I will continue to further my expertise and education because I never want to stop learning and I learn from each experience and client that I meet.

Work One-on-One with Celeste Kovach — Certified Animal Behaviorist

If your pet is struggling with anxiety, aggression, reactivity, or other complex behavioral challenges, Celeste offers private virtual consultations for pet parents in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, and surrounding areas including Rio Rancho, South Valley, Los Lunas, North Valley, Corrales, Belen, Bernalillo, Los Ranchos De Albuquerque, Peralta, Sandia Heights. Because sessions are conducted entirely online, your pet stays in their natural environment — the exact place where most problem behaviors occur — giving Celeste a clearer, more accurate picture of what's really going on.

Why a Behavioral Consultation Is Different

A general pet trainer focuses on commands and obedience. Celeste goes deeper — identifying and addressing the root cause of complex behaviors rooted in fear, anxiety, or trauma. This isn't basic training. It's a personalized, science-based plan built around your pet's specific history, triggers, and needs. If training alone hasn't worked, a behavioral consultation could be the turning point.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be located in Albuquerque to work with Celeste?
No. Sessions are conducted entirely online, so you can book from anywhere in New Mexico or across the country.

Are virtual sessions as effective as in-person visits? In many cases, yes — and often more so. Pets tend to show their true behaviors at home rather than in a clinic or with a stranger present. A virtual session gives Celeste a more accurate window into your pet's world.

What do I need for a virtual session? Just a smartphone, tablet, or laptop with a camera and a stable internet connection.

❤️ Behind every anxious or reactive pet is an animal that deserves to feel safe — and an owner who deserves to feel hopeful again. Take the first step toward a more peaceful home and book a consultation with Celeste today.
