What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?

Taking good photos of pets can be a challenge, but it can also be a lot of fun for you and your pet. Start with good lighting. Don't let the phone or camera hide your eyes from your pet. Step back and zoom in, so you don't get distortion from being too close. And don't forget the treats! Take lots of photos and make happy memories.

What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!

I'm a pet parent myself, proud mom to a wonderful dog.

I commissioned Heather to to do a pastel drawing of our two dogs that had recently passed away within a short period of time from each other. She was a pleasure to work with and offered valuable insite and suggestions as requested that made her final drawing so special. She was able to take a collection of pictures of the dogs both together and individually and came up with a layout that I feel really captured the bond the two dogs shared together. I was so impressed by how realistic her work was in comparison to the actual photographs. Heather is a very gifted and talented artist and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to have quality artwork of their beloved pets.
