Final Journey is an at-home pet euthanasia service that brings comfort and peace to loving families during a sensitive and challenging time. We handle the entire end-of-life process for pets from helping pet-owners understand if the time is right to guiding them through the stages of grief. We don't want pet parents worrying about the burden of logistics while going through the difficulty of losing a loved one. We understand that everyone wants their companion’s last moments to be as comfortable and stress-free as possible for themselves and their pet. Final Journey is committed to providing a gentle, peaceful transition for your animal companion. Some facts that set us apart:

*We always have our team come to the home so you and your loved ones need not help unless that's your wish.
*We take time with you and your family to create a loving, peaceful space; there is no rushing out the door.
*We return ashes personally, not through the mail.

You can contact us here.

The cost will be based on the size of the individual and cremation options chosen by you.

PLEASE NOTE: While Final Journey provides convenience, compassion, and care, it is not available for reasons of convenience euthanasia (i.e. people moving and cannot take their pets with them). We reserve the right to decline services.

PLEASE NOTE: if this is a medical emergency, you should contact your local animal hospital or dial 911.

Losing Kiwi was one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to go through in life. She was my emotional support companion & she was with me during the most difficult years of my life. We used the services of Final Journey over 6 years ago for our sweet boy Titan, and I knew that these were the people I needed to call on again for my sweet Frenchie Kiwi. Not only did I want Kiwi to be home where she would be happy and most comfortable, but also because I’m mostly bedridden & wanted to be with her in her final moments. The experience with Final Journey from the very first call, to the final return of my sweet girl, was everything I could have hoped for and more. The complete Final Journey staff, Dr. Kris & Kevin are truly amazing, caring, compassionate individuals. Their soft calming voices, gentle loving touches and overall care was beautiful. They gently explained each step of the process and that was very helpful for me because I have a lot of anxiety. They gave me the extra time I needed with Kiwi before, during & after the process, there was no pressure, no rush. They went above and beyond in every way. I will be forever grateful for everything they did for Kiwi & I. Having to go through this process is an extremely painful time for everyone involved. The best thing we can do for our companions and ourselves is being in our peaceful place, our home, where everyone feels comfortable, loved, and relaxed. I highly recommend Final Journey, they truly care for the families & their companions. You can immediately feel their love, compassion, and kindness in everything they do. Thank you to everyone at Final Journey for EVERYTHING you have done for Kiwi & I. For going above and beyond and helping me in my physical condition, so I could hold Kiwi until the very end. I couldn’t have done it without you. Bless you all! - August 2025 - Orange, CT
