Certified Expertise Backed by Behavioral Science. Real answers for your most challenging dog behavior problems.

You love your dog. But right now, you're not sure what to do.

Maybe it started small. A growl you hadn't heard before. A lunge that came out of nowhere. Anxiety that seems to be getting worse no matter what you try. So you did what anyone would do. You asked around.

Your family had opinions. Your trainer had a program. Your vet had a recommendation. And somehow, you are more confused than when you started.
Now you're lying awake wondering what to do next. Is this going to get worse? Is my dog even safe? Could a board and train fix this? Am I doing the right thing by keeping him? Could it really come to rehoming? To euthanasia?

You're not looking for another opinion to add to the pile. You're looking for someone who actually knows. Someone who can look at your specific situation, tell you honestly what's going on, and what to do next without any agenda.

The Dog Behavior Clarity Call:

You don't need to commit to a training program or wonder if you're doing the right thing.

Work One-on-One with Nikki Finn-Loudenslager — Certified Animal Behaviorist

If your pet is struggling with anxiety, aggression, reactivity, or other complex behavioral challenges, Nikki offers private virtual consultations for pet parents in Show Low, Navajo County, and surrounding areas including Pinetop-lakeside, Snowflake, Taylor, Heber-overgaard, Holbrook, Springerville, Eagar, St. Johns, Winslow, Pinedale. Because sessions are conducted entirely online, your pet stays in their natural environment — the exact place where most problem behaviors occur — giving Nikki a clearer, more accurate picture of what's really going on.

Why a Behavioral Consultation Is Different

A general pet trainer focuses on commands and obedience. Nikki goes deeper — identifying and addressing the root cause of complex behaviors rooted in fear, anxiety, or trauma. This isn't basic training. It's a personalized, science-based plan built around your pet's specific history, triggers, and needs. If training alone hasn't worked, a behavioral consultation could be the turning point.

🦔 How Booking Nikki on PetWorks Works

Browse Nikki's services and packages listed on this page, then click Book Now to initiate your booking, or Get Custom Quote to discuss your pet's specific situation before committing. All payments are processed securely through PetWorks — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Affirm, Link, or Klarna. Every booking includes PetWorks Care Coverage, giving you access to a dedicated concierge team, full refunds if a booking is canceled through no fault of yours, and support throughout your experience. Once booked, you'll coordinate scheduling and share any relevant history or videos directly with Nikki through the PetWorks Inbox.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be located in Show Low to work with Nikki?
No. Sessions are conducted entirely online, so you can book from anywhere in Arizona or across the country.

Are virtual sessions as effective as in-person visits? In many cases, yes — and often more so. Pets tend to show their true behaviors at home rather than in a clinic or with a stranger present. A virtual session gives Nikki a more accurate window into your pet's world.

What do I need for a virtual session? Just a smartphone, tablet, or laptop with a camera and a stable internet connection.
