BesoMomma Dog Training and Behavior Management - Westfield, NJ
BesoMomma LLCoffers customized dog training and behavior management by a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. Primarily force-free and reward based, driven by its core philosophy: TRAINING + MANAGEMENT + ACCEPTANCE.
Karin Araneta, CPDT-KA
2010: Karin adopted a Beagle that was later diagnosed with Canine Autism. This, along with her background in Psychology, further strengthened her interest in dog behavior. She apprenticed under Jojo Isorena at BetterDog Canine and Behavior Center in Manila and trained with other professional dog trainers certified under Karen Pryor Academy, the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, and Starmark Academy (previously known as Triple Crown Academy).
That same year, BesoMomma Canine Casting -which trains and casts dogs (and cats!) in TV commercials- was born.
2014: Karin relocated to the U.S. where she acquired her own certification with the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. She established BesoMomma Dog Training and Behavior Management in New York City.
2016: Karin was invited by the Animal Behavior College to be an Externship Mentor Trainer and the New York City Animal Care Center as a Volunteer Dog Trainer.
In addition to teaching Puppy Rearing, Basic and Advanced Obedience, Introduction to Agility, Trick Training, and Clicker Training, Karina has worked with deaf dogs, a dingo/wild dog, and special needs dogs with C-OCD and C-Autism. Her heart is in helping city dwellers raise puppies and hand-picks behavior and aggression cases no matter the distance.
Karin is working on her second certification under Mike D’Abruzzo’s Foundation Style Dog Training.
