Animal Reiki and Communication - Nationwide
I’m Monique Derfuss, and I offer compassionate in-person and remote Animal Reiki and animal communication sessions to support pets and their guardians through life’s many transitions. Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive complementary wellness practice that can help promote relaxation, ease stress and anxiety, and nurture an animal’s natural healing response during illness, surgery recovery, aging, and end-of-life care. My sessions are designed to work alongside—not replace—veterinary treatment and are especially supportive for sensitive, anxious, elderly, or recovering animals who may not tolerate extensive handling.
I welcome a wide range of companion and farm animals, including dogs, cats, horses, birds and parrots, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, mice, ferrets, chinchillas, hedgehogs, reptiles, fish, frogs, goats, alpacas, chickens, ducks, and more. Because Animal Reiki can be offered with minimal touch or from a distance, remote sessions provide a calming, accessible option for animals who are shy, physically uncomfortable, or simply more relaxed in their familiar home environment. Each session may also include the soothing sound of crystal bowls to create a peaceful, nurturing experience.

All living things have chi/life force energy running through them. So it should be no surprise that animals, four-legged, winged, and others, can benefit from Reiki sessions. According to the American Kennel Club, Reiki has been shown to support animals in the following ways:
Stress relief and reduction of anxiety;
Coping with illness and surgery recovery;
End-of-life care.
Past 4-legged clients have shared their trauma with me and trusted me to help them release these experiences and experience greater ease and joy.
During these sessions, animals share information that would be helpful for their humans to know for their physical & emotional well-being. I encourage guardians to participate in sessions. A pre and post-consult with animal guardians is part of the session.

Most animals will need more than one session in order to fully realign their energy. For this reason, I offer a discounted package to better support your animal.
