The breed

The Samoyed is a medium-to-large Spitz-type dog known for its thick, bright white or cream double coat, erect triangular ears, and plumed tail that curls over the back. Its dark eyes and upturned mouth create the breed’s famous “Samoyed smile.” Strongly built yet graceful, it has a fluffy, weather-resistant appearance shaped by its Arctic heritage.

Samoyeds are generally friendly, lively, and affectionate dogs that enjoy being around people. They are often sociable with families and can be playful, alert, and expressive. Their intelligent, independent nature reflects their history as working dogs, while their cheerful personality and distinctive smile make them especially recognizable.

Are you looking for an active companion for outdoor adventures and family time? Consider a Samoyed for this cheerful, people-oriented role.
