The breed

The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is a small, sturdy herding dog with a long body, short legs, upright ears, and a foxlike face. Its coat is medium-length, weather-resistant, and commonly red, sable, fawn, or black and tan with white markings. Pembrokes are often recognized by their very short or absent tails, though tail length can vary.

Pembroke Welsh Corgis are bright, alert, and affectionate dogs with lively personalities. Originally developed to move cattle, they tend to be energetic, confident, and quick to notice activity around them. They are often devoted to their families and enjoy being involved in household life. Their intelligence and bold, cheerful nature can make them entertaining companions.

Are you looking for a small, lively companion with a history of herding farm animals? Consider a Pembroke Welsh Corgi for that role.
