The breed

The Border Terrier is a small, sturdy dog with a compact, workmanlike build. It has a distinctive rough, wiry outer coat and a soft undercoat, often seen in grizzle and tan, red, wheaten, or blue and tan shades. Its head is often described as otter-like, with a short muzzle, keen expression, and small folded ears. Despite its modest size, it has strong legs and an athletic appearance.

Border Terriers are generally lively, affectionate, and good-natured. They are known for being alert and curious, with the determined spirit of a traditional working terrier. Many are sociable and enjoy being involved in family activity, while their intelligence and independence can give them a spirited character. They are typically energetic outdoors but can also be calm and companionable at home.

Are you looking for a small, lively companion for walks and outdoor adventures? Consider a Border Terrier for that role.
