The breed

The Bearded Collie is a medium-sized herding dog with a shaggy, weather-resistant double coat and a distinctive long beard beneath its muzzle. It has a lean, athletic build, a broad head, expressive eyes often partly hidden by hair, and a tail carried low when relaxed. Coat colors include black, blue, brown, and fawn, often with white markings.

Bearded Collies are lively, cheerful, and intelligent dogs known for their playful, outgoing nature. Bred to work with livestock, they are alert, energetic, and quick to respond to activity around them. They are often affectionate and sociable with familiar people, while their bright, bouncy personality gives them a youthful, enthusiastic character.

Are you looking for an energetic companion for active family life and outdoor adventures? Consider the Bearded Collie for its playful spirit and bright mind.
