My family has worked with Lisa for over a year, and it has been an incredible experience! We rescued a sweet pug who was very reactive to other dogs and extremely nervous around the vet and grooming - particularly nail trimming. We came to Lisa in a vulnerable place, not understanding how to help our pup feel safe and comfortable at home and in the world. Lisa patiently worked with us and our dog to identify triggers and growth areas we needed to address. She provided a actionable plan that utilized positive reinforcement to address our behavioral concerns. Her approach utilized simple but methodical training exercises that we practiced together and alone each week. Lisa adapted to how our dog was progressing each week and remained flexible and attentive to help us maximize every session. Week after week, we could see our pup growing more confident and comfortable as Lisa introduced new and exciting exercises to advance our training. Today, we're able to trim his nails, let him play at the park, and take him on walks. All things that were truly unimaginable just a year ago. Wonderful place!! Lisa Verdugo came to our house and trained my daughter who is 21 and our new dog which is a boxer Pitbull rescue. Eight months old and is beautiful. Lisa put in her time and my daughter has put in her time. And we have a wonderful dog now. Lulu is her name and she is still working very hard to be a great dog. My daughter trains her to to three times a day for about 15 minutes at a time. Consistency is the key. - Los Angeles, CA
