I reached out to Krista in February 2025 regarding my cat Lorenzo eliminating outside his box. Krista was so attentive, helpful, supportive, but most importantly so very knowledgeable about why this was happening. Krista drafted up a game plan for Lorenzo within a few days of our initial consultation, and within a week Lorenzo started using the litter box to go poop. All I can say is trust the process, and trust Krista. She provided a very detailed assessment/plan along with a tracking sheet for us. This allowed her to assess Lorenzo daily and provide updates/changes to the plan. We are so very thankful for Krista, her support, patience and help. Krista is super sweet, really accommodating, resourceful, and her help has greatly impacted the dynamic between my two kitties (Gigi and Tito). In our first consultation I finally learnt that the cause for the strife between the two (where Gigi, the older cat, would hiss whenever Tito, the younger cat, was in her presence, her lack of interest in playing, and fussiness around eating next to Tito, as well as excessive licking on one of her arms) was caused by anxiety Gigi had towards Tito from the time we tried to introduce them. We made several environmental changes due to stressors clearly identified by Krista and incorporated daily positive sessions involving puzzle feeders (a toy I hadn’t known existed) with the cats as well. I was sent lots of great resources too about cardboard cat scratchers (which my cats loved!), toys, and clicker training. In a few weeks, these changes provided great mental stimulation for my cats and caused them to become more relaxed around another. Gigi hisses less, doesn’t lick her arms as much, plays more, and now she is starting to engage in playful behavior with Tito! I’ve also learnt a great deal about cat behavior generally, my eldest cat Gigi loves boxes and I decided to give her her own little den since I learnt it provides a stress-free “hug” for them. The worry I had for Gigi’s health and behavior has definitely relaxed and Krista has definitely brought positive changes in our home.

Krista was absolutely amazing throughout this entire process!! Our two fur babies, bonded brother and litter mates, experienced redirected aggression after an outdoor cat passed by. We had NEVER heard of this, or knew how to approach this difficult situation...and then we found Krista! Not only did she provide us with amazing support, but educated us and provided us with the necessary tools to get our house back to living in harmony. While our fur babies are still a work in progress, Krista has shown us that while this process is not linear, there is hope. Highly Highly recommended Feline Behavior Coach!!

Krista was a incredible support for myself and always keeping my 2 Maine Coon Boys in her focus. It turned put I was dealing with my one boy having non-recognition. My older one required many vet visits. When I would bring him home . His younger brother would attack him randomly. They continued to get worse over time, i kept going to the vet complaining about these attacks. They told me to just re home my younger boy. I asked for maybe anxiety meds. They agreed and prescribed the most expensive one. Costing over 100.00 a month. I asked tor a cheaper version for the last 6 months. Vet said she was busy she would think about it. I got frustrated and found Krista! My one make needed 6 weeks of b12 injections. She suggested a mobile vet. I found a mobile tech & vet . One came to my home an amazing Tech. Patted both kitties I gave her the injection he was basically asleep . Never bugged. No hissing nothing. No issues at all after! One happy family! I'm so grate-full for Krista's help. My cat Penny had developed a habit of overgrooming (or “barbering”) after we went away to visit my mom last fall. Following the vet’s advice, I tried Feliway and calming probiotics, but poor Penny’s bald belly patch just grew and grew. At my wits’ end, I contacted Krista for advice. I’m so glad I did! She is very empathetic and experienced and gave me lots of ideas, while cautioning me that “it’s not a race” and that overgrooming is tough to overcome. It’s been about a month since I started putting her advice into practice and I’m pleased to say that Penny’s fur is starting to grow again! She still has her habit of worrying at her tummy, but at least I feel I have a toolkit for dealing with the problem and that things are finally turning around. Thank you, Krista! I feel so much better and clearly so does my little Penny!!

Krista was a delight, she came for 1 visit to understand the surroundings of our cat and was able to give us some recommendations that helped us a lot. Pur cat was urinating on the bed and we were not sure why. Krista recommended small changes which were easy to do and helped us resolve the issue. She was also great to work with, very patient and relatable.

Krista is incredibly informative, helpful and supportive in helping resolve our cat's inappropriate elimination problems. She analyzed our home environment and gave helpful suggestions to help resolve the issue while explaining the rationale towards creating a happy environment for our cat. Her suggestions have help resolved our cat's elimination issues and have had the added benefits of creating a stronger bond between ourselves and our cat. Krista regularly checked in on us after the initial home visit and added suggestions along the way. I cannot thank Krista enough and I highly recommend her for feline behavior services.

Krista has been a huge help in re-introducing my 3 cats. They have lived together for about 4 years, and suddenly redirected aggression changed our peaceful home into constant fighting between my cats. I was trying to resolve this on my own for a few months, and I was at a loss. I felt alone, and I worried I would have to rehome the bonded pair. I decided to contact Krista because I needed advice, reassurance, and someone who understood how awful this situation can be. Do not be afraid to ask for help. Krista has been very supportive as we try to help our cat, who has experienced trauma and sometimes displays aggression, learn to feel safe (and be safe). She started working with us when we were fostering, and stuck with us after we adopted. She’s very responsive, shares helpful resources, and I genuinely believe she is personally and emotionally invested in our cat’s wellbeing.

Krista is very kind, patient and non-judgmental. I initially contacted Krista about some cat behavior issues and unfortunately not long after getting in touch, my family situation changed very drastically and there was a lot of added stress in my home and for my cat which really escalated the issues he was already having. Krista was always responsive in a timely manner and very helpful with all my concerns. She has helped me modify my home to be more enriching and to help reduce some of the stress in my cats situation. She has also helped immensely at helping ask the right questions to the vet and to describe behaviors that I didn't realize were not normal and helped point out issues to the vet that had been overlooked. I know I have a long journey ahead with my boy, but I am finally feeling optimistic and supported.

Krista has been so helpful as we go through the process of re- introducing our cats. She imbued so much knowledge, experience, and understanding into her approach and we always felt that everyone in our household (humans AND cats!) were in good hands. She's an excellent listener and after we exhausted all other avenues (vets, the internet, trial and error), she gave us an entirely new approach to our problem and a sense of hope that we can get our cats to get along. Krista helped us with a case of cat non-recognition aggression. It was a very stressful, scary and a sad time for us as everything in our cats lives turned upside down. We have been working with Krista regarding our two cats for the last year. After one of them spent a few days at the emergency vet, the other did not recognize him anymore. We had spent the first few weeks very unsuccessfully trying to get them to exist peacefully, and was slowly losing hope. It was at that point that we contacted Krista. Krista was super helpful in helping me with my anxious and aggressive cat. I contacted Feline Behaviour Coaching when my cat was struggling and had become very aggressive towards me. Right from the start Krista provided clear guidance and easy steps to follow. I saw improvements in my cat’s comfort level after the first few days. Working with Krista allowed my partner and I to breathe a much needed sigh of relief after an unfavorable experience adopting our cat (Minnow) from a local rescue in November 2025. We connected with Krista for support in navigating an undisclosed medical issue (FIC), several vet visits, and behavioral issues (fearfulness, socialization, hissing, eliminating outside of litterbox, vocalizations in litterbox, etc.) that Minnow presented with shortly after adoption. Krista is a wealth of knowledge and her care for animals is palpable. As new cat parents, Krista was a sounding board who met us with compassion, encouragement, patience and guidance. Krista helped us interpret and validate the signals we were receiving from Minnow through his behavior as well as create an action plan around what he needed. During this time, we also worked closely with our vet to get Minnow the medical attention he needed while he acclimated to his new home. Primarily, Minnow required anti-anxiety medication for his transition to help ease his discomfort. Alongside our vet, Krista’s support was imperative in transforming Minnow’s quality of life by addressing his behavioral concerns. Though this was no easy feat, with patience, listening to the signals, and staying the course during medical stabilization, Minnow’s true self began to shine through. However, all of this was made possible with Krista in not only our corner, but Minnow’s corner too. Krista provides thorough, detailed support that includes a personalized plan, resources, videos, and availability to answer any questions that come up for you throughout the process. Krista is kind, communicative, reliable, and goes above and beyond. As I write this, we have had Minnow for three months and he is a completely different cat than the scared, underweight, and sick kitten we initially adopted. Without Krista’s compassion, knowledge, encouragement and care we most likely would have rehomed Minnow because we felt he needed parents with more experience than we could offer. We are so grateful to Krista for helping us to be the parents Minnow needed and cannot imagine a life without him now. Krista helped so much our family! I thought Eric and Kenny would be shy forever, but with some wonderful tips we could understand how to manage them and make them feel comfortable at home. Update 2025: Krista is helping us again! Eric is such a loving cat, he's nosy, talkative and friendly, but he's painfully shy of new people, which makes he's life hard. Krista is helping my family to help Eric be less afraid of strangers and encourage him to get along with new people, we just started, but I already can understand the path we'll follow. Krista was so didactic and clear that I could understand which of my behaviors were impacting Eric's behavior.

We reached out to Feline Behaviour Coach in June 2024. One of our cats had started peeing outside of the litter box consistently. We provided Krista with details about our cats' histories and she came up with several strategies to fix this unwanted behavior. All of our discussions were virtual, which made meeting much easier. We implemented the changes recommended by Krista and within a few days (supported by Krista's feedback) we saw positive results! This is an ongoing process but, thanks to Krista, we now have some strategies we can work with to keep our cat happy and using his litter box. Krista has been extremely helpful and accommodating with getting our two cats introduced to each other. She has taught us a lot about the nuances of our cats' behaviors and how to navigate/recognize what their body languages are telling us. Krista has been absolutely amazing in helping my two cats! I adopted a cat from the SPCA some months ago and since then, she has been bullying my resident cat who I've had for 7yrs. I feel like I've tried EVERYTHING that was recommended on the internet, but they had no success. Now, I've been in the program with Krista just for a few weeks, though, we've been in touch a bit longer. So far in this time, I've been seeing lots of behavioral changes in my adopted cat and her hyper-fixation is almost gone! Now, we are working on building my resident cat's confidence so that he isn't afraid of her. This whole process has been very well laid out by Krista with in depth explanations and expectations during our on-call sessions and via email. She clearly has had a lot of experience sorting out these kinds of behaviors in cats, and I'm really excited to see how much more progress there will be in the next 2 weeks. We are incredibly grateful for the support we received from Feline Behaviour Coach during one of the most challenging foster situations we’ve faced. Two cats came to us from a neglectful background at a time when cat centers were completely full. Several dog rescues, including ours, stepped up to take in 10 cats, splitting them into pairs and finding foster homes. As a dog rescue, cats are not our area of expertise. During the early decompression period, I reached out for professional guidance and that decision made all the difference. Her knowledge, calm approach, and practical advice helped us navigate the toughest moments and gave both the cats and me, the foster, the support we needed. We've been working with Krista since September to help us introduce our cat Maui to our other two cats Hershey & KK. When we reached out to Krista we were feeling pretty discouraged - Maui was very unhappy with confinement and Hershey & KK (previously bonded) were redirecting their aggression towards each other. Krista helped us create a comprehensive plan and advised us to work on rebuilding Hershey & KK's relationship before even thinking about introducing Maui. It was a disheartening to hear at first but also - the advice/guidance we truly needed - we were afraid we were going to have to isolate all 3 of them from each other. We saw SMALL but POSITIVE and HOPEFUL changes immediately - I stress SMALL - but we were completely OK with that, understanding that our cats were also trying to figure things out and feel safe and how we could support them in feeling safe and confident. Krista was encouraging throughout and always met us where we were at. After several months we have seen even more progress that has made us more hopeful - the cats are not all integrated yet but KK and Hershey's relationship has improved dramatically and Maui seems happier/less stressed every day. I had a wonderful experience working with Krista. I recently adopted a 4 year old cat, named Cinder, who has a history of trauma and therefore was very scared and stressed when he came to live with my husband and I. I am an experienced cat owner but this was my first time having a cat that was a little more complicated. He was hiding, hissing and would not let my husband or I come anywhere near him. Wanting to support him the best I could, I reached out to Krista for help. It is clear that Krista loves what she does and she had wonderful insight into his behavior and created a comprehensive plan for me to follow with Cinder. She was responsive to emails and was always so encouraging, I appreciated that she celebrated our wins with Cinder with us, no matter how small. The progress Cinder has made since working with Krista is huge. He is now letting me pet him (and actually seeking out pets!), he likes to hang out with us and is no longer hiding. After adopting a senior cat (11yrs old) last summer I decided I wanted to understand her needs and do my best to meet them. She was a surrender and she had another mate that was surrendered with her but I was told they were not bonded. I hired Krista to assist me with that. Krista taught me how to tap into Sadie's natural cat instincts and to provide her enrichment. Sadie is now a much more independent cat and loves her sun perch and chasing a mouse like toy. We are so glad we found Krista! We had a lot of inter kitty conflict and one of our cats had harmed another. We didn’t know where to start and were a bit skeptical about behaviorists, but Krista created a plan and gave us all the tools we needed to succeed. My 5 yr old cat Leo was going thru depression and anxiety. We lost our 14 yr old dog whom Leo was very attached to. Waited 4 months and brought home a 4 month kitten Lucy. She was like the energizer bunny...no stopping her. Leo was not happy. Krista suggested different ideas for enrichment, play time, treat puzzles and clicker training. Also put Leo on Zylkene from the vets. Big difference now.....Leo is a happy, playful cat who loves his little sister Lucy. Thank you Krista.
