Make Sit Happen Dog Training - Savage, MN by Sarah Jensen
This is going to cover all the basics for puppies, new dogs to the home, or dogs who need to brush up on the basics. We will cover sit, down, touch, place, leave it, watch me, stand, stay, come, and loose leash walking. I like to do this as a 6 week course, but can also just focus on whichever of these you are wanting to work on.
If your dog has all the basic obedience commands down, we can move on to intermediate to advanced obedience. Depending on where your dog is at, we will work on: heel, commands in motion, commands with distraction, leg weaves, peekaboo, long lead work, back up, speak, shake, play dead, spin, outside work, and really anything else you can think of. We will still use basic obedience commands, but the goal is to get them down in any and all environments and increasing distance, duration, and distraction.
This package covers separation anxiety, mild reactivity to other animals and people, mild barrier frustration, mild resource guarding, but with no bite history.
This package is for moderate to severe reactivity, for dogs who have bitten or attacked other dogs and/or people, extreme resource guarding, extreme barrier frustration, and severe anxiety. If there is a history of biting I do require a written agreement to muzzle condition and that if a bite occurs during training that it is the owners liability.
It is recommended that you already have the basic obedience commands down before signing up for these sessions. In this we will go over the 10 skills and the requirements to pass the CGC test. Unsure of if your dog is ready for this level of training? Basic to advanced obedience done remotely via Zoom or Google Meet.
