We honed our craft the old-fashioned way—by picking up a lot of poop! What started as a simple idea to help busy pet parents turned into a passion for making yards cleaner, safer, and more enjoyable for families (and paws) across Northern Kentucky. We’ve studied the ins and outs of waste removal, sanitation, pet safety, and even route optimization to make our service as efficient and reliable as possible.  Plus, we listen closely to our clients—because the best way to improve is to actually give a crap.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?

Routine is everything! Whether it’s potty breaks, mealtimes, or play sessions—dogs thrive on consistency. Creating a predictable schedule not only helps with training (and fewer backyard surprises), but also builds trust and lowers stress for your pup.  Also, never underestimate the power of praise. A little “good dog!” goes a long way—and hey, we’ve found it works on humans, too.

What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!

We’re not some big-box brand—we’re your neighbors! Yard Guard LLC is proudly local, family owned, and built with a whole lot of heart (and a strong stomach). We genuinely care about your pets, your yard, and your time. Every scoop, every visit, every wagging tail—we’re all in. If it matters to you, it matters to us.  Also... we might have a license plate that says “SCOOP.” Just sayin’.

Cat-astrophes happen! What is your cancellation policy?

• Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service will receive a full refund. Cancel or skip a visit with at least 24 hours notice and you will not be charged for it.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service will not receive a refund. Visits canceled with less than 24 hours notice, or that we can't complete because the yard isn't accessible, are still charged.

Service is prepaid monthly and billed on the same date you started. There are no contracts. You can pause or cancel anytime by contacting us at [email protected] or 859-999-7667. If severe weather or one of our two yearly breaks causes a skipped visit, we remove double the waste on your next visit, so billing stays the same.
