Laura has been in love with animals all her life.There has never been a time when she was not either rescuing, volunteering, pet sitting, fostering, adopting or being an activist on behalf of them. She had always fancied herself a cat person until the day she adopted her first stray dog. Since then, her home has never been without EITHER. As she says. "my heart has been forever enlarged and enriched by the love of dog"!
After years of "normal" work, Laura decided to put her passion for animals first and follow her bliss. Thus was born WAG-N-TRAIN, a full-service pet business that allows Laura more time to not only love on her own fur babies but all of YOURS as well! WAG-N-TRAIN provides an affordable, dependable and trusted resource for your beloved family member when you are unable to be to there for him/her due to work schedule, illness or vacations. You know, there is no greater love than a dog has for his person and it is Laura's goal to honor that abiding trust by taking the most excellent care possible and loving YOUR pooches (and your kitties, too) as if they were her own angels with fur, and in so doing earn your trust as well. She has also had the privilege of caring for birds, fish, rats/mice and reptiles over the past 40 years.
Daily care starts at $22 per visit for up to 3 pets. Additional fees may apply for 4 or more pets. Overnights start at $55 a night. Occasionally, Laura will take client's small dogs into her home for sitting. If her 2 Chihuahuas get along with the potential "guest", then it's a go! The fee for that service is $50 a night.
Laura is certified in pet CPR and First Aid, A member of the Professional United Pet Sitters, LLC (PUPS).
