Vital Equine Holistic Veterinary Medicine, Inc. - Calabasas, CA
Dr. Fenton's focus is to heal the body, mind and soul as safely and effectively as possible. She comes well-equipped with a medical degree, five certifications and seven subjects of formal training in both veterinary and human medicine that go beyond current industry standards. This provides her the ability to unravel the "root" of the patient's distress and manifest more complete repair and recovery than a medical degree alone could offer.
This diverse background of education and practical approach to medicine helps Dr. Fenton uncover the true reasons for the patient's problems and appropriately address them, rather than detrimentally masking dis-ease via drugs and surgery without knowing the underlying cause -- the way modern medicine often does today. By uniquely blending the best of traditional, holistic and ancient forms of medicine, a greater approach and overall outcome is typically achieved!
Dr. Fenton is also a Certified Applied Clinical Nutritionist for humans. Treating horse owners, trainers and riders for pain, stamina, fatigue, emotional stability or other nutritional-related issues after treating the horse is something she thoroughly enjoys.
