Second, once your pet is fully at ease, the final medication is given. The process is gentle and painless, and your pet will simply drift off to sleep. Third, Dr. Sandra will confirm the passing and give you as much time as you need to say goodbye. You are welcome to hold your pet, have family members present, or simply sit quietly together. The entire visit is guided entirely by you.
