I never want to be the aloof "expert" who knows everything and must be leaned on for every problem. I want to help you to understand WHY your dog does what they do, so that you can communicate clearly with them. Though I train a wide variety of breeds and behaviors, I specialize in 3 areas: puppy development and training, service dogs, and finding your family the “right fit” dog, whether that be a new puppy, a rescue dog, or a future service dog candidate.
I have many years of volunteer experience raising service dog candidates with Canine Companions for Independence. I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed, an Accredited Dog Trainer with the IAABC foundation, and a CGC Certified Evaluator.
