Thomas Sandberg is a researcher, animal activist, author, and Animal Naturopath that is board certified by the American Council of Animal Naturopathy and by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. He was born in Norway but now lives in Park City, Utah, with his pack of three dogs and two cats.

He has a background in biology, chemistry, naturopathy and is currently studying and testing: cellular health, epigenetics, energy healing (PEMF, PBM, and LLT therapy) to see how these can be applied to keep animals in homeostasis.

Thomas has always believed that dogs and cats should live much longer than they do today. Based on his research and the data from his studies, he has developed several strategies on how we can extend the life of our pets and also lower the risk of cancer and other chronic diseases taking our pets.

What is an Animal Naturopath?

It’s in the name. We use nature as the path to prevent and recover from dis-ease. We believe the body of an animal and a human has the ability to heal itself when provided an environment that will promote homeostasis. This includes proper nutrients supplied through a species (dogs and cats) appropriate diet.

Symptoms of dis-ease are to a naturopath a road map to the cause of the dis-ease. Symptoms are signs of a body out of ease (dis-ease). It is also a part of the healing process. Disrupting this process with drugs and medication is masking the symptoms giving a false impression of a cure. It is not eliminating the cause. Therefore the animal is not healed permanently.

A naturopath will add what will restore homeostasis and remove what blocks it using only natural modalities based on the laws of nature. This all starts on a cellular level. Healthy cells are the foundation for a healthy body. Thomas spends a lot of time researching cellular biology.

Thomas Sandberg is the founder of ‘Long Living Pets Research Projects’, a thirty-year observational study into the longevity of pets, cancer prevention, and effectiveness of current ‘cures’ vs. natural modalities.

Thomas is 20 years into his one-of-a-kind study with over 6,000 dogs from around the world. He is in the process of expanding the study to 10,000 dogs and 5,000 cats. His study is being observed by several veterinarians, holistic veterinarians, holistic practitioners, and scientists. This study/research is self-funded and not influenced by any commercial entities.

Thomas also consults pet owners with pets with cancer in exchange for their story. Thomas has collected data from hundreds of cases. He has learned more from these cases than any other source and developed strategies that he shares with others fighting cancer. Thomas believes the risk of cancer can be reduced drastically with the right strategies. The data from the study strongly indicate this.

Thomas believes there will never be a ‘cure’ since cancer is a natural function that a healthy body recognizes and will initiate proper actions to stop at an early stage (apoptosis). Keeping the body in homeostasis is the ‘cure’.
