Stress Solutions of New York - Pet Loss Grief Counseling - Nationwide
I am a psychotherapist who specializes in providing quick acting treatment approaches that enables one to resolve their grief more quickly and gently. In addition I am an advanced Grief Recovery specialist. I utilize the Grief Recovery Method which is the only evidence based program of its kind. This means that individuals have been able to experience successful recovery for the past 40 years by using this program. My training has allowed me to specialize in treating trauma for the past 25 years. As such I have been the primary referral source for the Long Island Rail Road, Trans World Airlines, and American. When their employees or family members experienced a major tragedy they would be referred to me because of my utilization of quicker treatment approaches. I was also intimately involved in the World Trade Center tragedy. I have been able to successfully apply these user friendly strategies to promote meaningful healing to those individuals who have been reeling from the deaths of their beloved pets. In addition these approaches also allows the client to easily learn how to use them on their own which is invaluable in helping them manage other stress.
Having been a personal beneficiary of my cats and dogs over the years I can appreciate how much our beloved pets do for us. Being exposed to treatment has enabled my clients to remove the pain of their loss and more fully delight in what their pets have meant to them. This also equips them to better embrace their new pet. Please contact me through Petworks. Have a great day!
