Hi, my name is Lynette N. Henry, but everyone calls me Nickey (middle name's Nicole).
I was born in South America, raised in Boston, MA, and educated in Brooklyn, NY. I've been a caregiver of dogs for over 15 years. My business started in the Fort Greene/Clinton Hill area Brooklyn, NY in 2008. Home visits to dogs (cats also; clean/change litter box and feedings), taking them out for 1/2 hr to 1 hour walks, individual and pack walk.
In 2016, I moved to upstate NY, Otsego County.
I offer open kennel boarding in my home. It is a working farmer, my exboyfriend has goats and the guests have full view of them from the backyard. The yard is fenced in, and just about 1/2 an acre, that buts up to the pond. (which my water-loving breeds take full advantage of).
In addition, guest get 2-5 mile daily walks, weather permitting.... it takes a horrendous downpour for the hardiest to give up an outing. Photos and videos sent daily
I also offer housesitting for those furbabies who prefer to stay at home. Besides daily walks, frolicking in the backyard, feeding, meds administered, water changed, and photos & videos sent daily... mail is collected, plants are watered and house cleaning kept up.
*Let's set up a meet & greet! They can be done in person or via video chat (if you are outside of 25 miles or out of state).

Pricing Packages
Your pet will stay in my home, receive 3- 4 walks daily (weather permitting), meals and bathroom breaks every 2-4 hrs. You supply food, bowls, and bedding (if not possible, I do have bedding and bowls).
I will stay in your home and keep your pets daily routes going... they won't even notice your gone.... in addition, clean up the house/property and collect the mail.

I was already a dog owner (2l and also fostered before acquired my 1st 2. My dogwalker suggested I take on one of her clients, cause I was complaining about my desk job. I quit my desk job after about a month, and started full-time. I have not looked back.
What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
Get rid of your retractable leash, you will have a much stronger connection to your pup, plus build up some nice "guns" (biceps).
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
