Rescue Me Private Dog Training - Asheville, NC
Dara Wittenberg, founder of Rescue Me Dog Training, got into the dog training field so she could help homeless dogs. She realized she could use her talents to train dogs already within the shelter system so they would have a better chance of adoption. Dara aims to keep dogs OUT of shelters by helping people train their dogs so they don't ever have to be given up for behavior issues.
She has volunteered with a local shelter's playgroups- in a program created by Amie Sadler: Dogs Playing for Life- working with the behavior team to train the dogs, as well as volunteering with the ASPCA. She was awarded "Behavior Team Volunteer" of the Year, 2016, at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue.
Dara is a certified professional dog trainer with CCPDT and Animal Behavior College, and holds a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Exercise Science. Please contact and book me on Petworks.
