Reliable Caring Dog Walker - Santa Monica, CA
Hi, I'm Will — a dependable, animal-loving dog walker based in Santa Monica, serving the greater LA area within a 10-mile radius. I offer on-leash neighborhood walks for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, and I bring genuine care and calm energy to every single visit.
Animals have been central to my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up alongside cats and dogs, and my family currently has three kittens and a cat at home — so I'm deeply comfortable reading animal behavior, responding to different energy levels, and keeping pets feeling safe and at ease. I've walked and cared for dogs in my community on an ongoing basis, and the feedback I consistently get from pet parents is that their dogs are happy, calm, and well-exercised when they're with me.
What sets me apart isn't just my love for animals — it's my reliability and my temperament. I'm the eldest of four siblings, so responsibility and attentiveness are genuinely built into how I operate. I don't get rattled in unpredictable situations. I follow routines carefully, communicate proactively with owners, and treat every dog like the family member they are — because I know that's exactly what they are to you.
I'm active, fit, and genuinely enjoy being outdoors, which means your dog is getting walks with someone who is fully present and energized — not just going through the motions. I take this seriously, and I show up that way every time.
I serve Santa Monica and surrounding neighborhoods. Reach out — I'd love to meet your pup!

How did you hone your craft?
Honestly, it started at home. Growing up with dogs and cats — and now having three kittens and a cat in the house — gave me years of hands-on experience reading animal behavior, managing different personalities, and figuring out what each pet actually needs. From there, I started walking and sitting for neighbors and families in my community, which taught me how to adapt to different routines, environments, and pet temperaments. Every animal I've cared for has taught me something new, and I bring all of that into every visit.
What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
Let your pet set the pace — especially with new people. The best thing a pet parent can do is give their animal time to sniff, observe, and warm up on their own terms rather than pushing interaction. I've found that the pets who seem the most anxious at first become the most relaxed and trusting once they feel like they're in control of the introduction. It makes every visit after that so much smoother and more enjoyable for everyone.
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
I genuinely look forward to every visit. This isn't just a job for me — I light up around animals, and your pet will feel that. I'm the kind of person who will send you an unprompted update photo just because your dog did something adorable on the walk. You'll never have to wonder if your pet is okay — because I'll already have told you they are.
