Our 3 year old Aussie did a 3 week board & train with Elizabeth & Josh. I was walking Gus the other day hoping to practice what he learned on his 3 week stay. It took me a minute to notice Gus would stop & sit EVERY SINGLE TIME I stopped!!!! Gus seriously walks like a pro show dog now!!! Stay Positive is so good we are investing in our other Aussie in June!

In December, our Cavapoo puppies, Birk and Chuy, joined the family. Bringing home two puppies was pretty overwhelming in the beginning. Then we found Elizabeth. Elizabeth has helped us so much! It’s amazing how our fur babies responded so quickly to Elizabeth’s positive reinforcement training. They are so smart! Birk has started going on field trips with Josh and we look forward to continuing training with Elizabeth and Josh. We highly recommend Stay Positive Animal Training!!

I found Stay Positive Animal Training, in October. I reached out to them in desperation with a decision to make. $3,000 in training for the dog I have or $3,000 on a puppy. I reached out and was given a ray of hope that my Great Pyrenees mix Thalia could over come her reactivity and might possibly be able to go back to service work. Our sessions further proved that. Other trainers told me that it may not be possible due to her breed mix and they have reassured me all the way through that she IS making progress and IS doing amazingly. We’re not done but we’ve already come so far. They’ve been more than accommodating of my disabilities, understanding when I was in the ER and couldn’t attend a session, and super understanding with taking breaks in between sessions due to my health. This is an amazing company to work with and I’m more than happy I found them. Within 6 sessions in the span of 8 months, Thalia has gone from barking, lunging, play growling, standing on her hind legs to see a dog, pulling toward other dogs to being cool and confident around them. We’re well on our way back to doing full public access work and I couldn’t be more happy. If you need a trainer this is who I would go to 100%!
