Hi! I'm Amanda Jessup, and I work with Next Generation Pet Wellness, as a certified canine and feline nutritionist. I'm certified through the Academy of Natural Health Sciences. I've worked in the pet industry for over seven years, and have helped hundreds of people and their pets. I live in southeast Michigan with my two dogs and four cats. My hobbies include painting, hiking, camping, and gardening. My goal is to help as many people and their pets as possible!
A pet nutritionist can help:
Puppies and kittens whose owners want to start them on a great diet
Pets that have been on antibiotics (especially when young)
Pets that have been spayed or neutered before they finished growing
Pets that exhibit signs of allergies/sensitivities (i.e. itching, licking, excessive shedding, bald patches, tear staining)
Pets with stomach issues such as vomiting, diarrhea, constipation and nausea
Any senior pet
Pets with cancer
Pets with diabetes
Pets in renal failure
Pets with bladder issues (stones, crystals, UTIs, etc.)
Pets who need to lose or gain weight.
Consultations can be done via phone or virtual meeting and typically range from thirty minutes to one hour. Ongoing care programs are available as well.

Not sure where to start? This is the right place! Work 1-on-1 with a certified pet nutritionist to get your pet the help it needs. This time frame works for most pet parents, but we specifically recommend it for: average pets with minimal health issues, patients with only one pet, first-time pet parents, and patients interested in home-cooking.
We recommend this appointment to households with more than one pet, pets with complex or chronic health issues, and pets with lots of paperwork to review. If you would like calculations for a raw diet to be done during the call we can do that in this time frame!
Wanting to make your pet's food? This is the service for you! All recipes are created by a certified nutritionist and are tailored to you + your pet. Recommended for: pet parents that are new to home cooking, pets with allergies, pets with complex health issues that aren’t able to eat commercially available pet foods, pet parents who have tried everything and nothing seems to work.
