I am a Certified Pet Loss Grief Specialist. I've worked 21 years with a hospice as a grief counselor. For the past 5 years I've worked as a grief specialist for Pet Loss Resource Center. I feel very connected to pet parents who are grieving the loss of a heart pet. I have personally been there as well and recognize the intense grief one experiences with the death of a pet, which is often unrecognized by the general public. It can be a loss very similar to the loss of a child.
I can offer support and information about grief and ways to cope.
I am CEO of Pet Loss Resource Center based in Madison Wi. offering 3 support groups/month and individual counseling.

Pet Pro's Response:

Very open, great questions. I am glad we were able to chat but sad for the reason. Thank you for sharing Rigby with me. A well loved dog.

- Linda Colletti

Linda was extremely helpful and compassionate. She explained the grief process and the uniqueness for each individual - really cleared some clouds for me. If you are looking for a person who is experienced, empathic and insightful in the traumatic moment of your pet loss, Linda is it!
