Paw Prints Forever - In Home Pet Euthanasia - Chadds Ford, PA

Member since Nov 2019

We are a locally private pet crematory located in Delaware County, PA. By private crematory, we mean that we do not hold any contracts with vet clinics (we are not a third party crematory in any capacity), and we work directly with pet owners and their families. Pet cremation is a personal journey that is to be taken seriously, as our loving pets are an important part of our family. Every single pet that comes to us is privately and individually cremated - we do NOT offer communal cremation services. We strongly believe that all pets should be handled with the dignity and respect that they so deserve!

If you are considering euthanasia, we do have a wonderful veterinarian that works with us to offer the option of in-home euthanasia or we can perform it here in our private viewing room - we want to be as accommodating as possible! Because let's face it, vet clinics can be a very stressful environment for you and your pet....all the noise, other animals, bustling front desks, ringing phones etc. Not a great way to say goodbye and spend the final hours with your beloved pet. Even the car ride itself for some pets is also highly distressing - so why not offer the option of a home setting? A peaceful and familiar place for your furry friend! Euthanasia is only offered in conjunction with our cremation service. Please contact us through Petworks for this service.

Our office has business hours 7 days a week, and outside of those business hours we have staff that is on call 24/7/365 - not an answering service or answering machine, an actual staff member ready to assist you. Unfortunately, losing a pet is not always something we can plan ahead for. This means in the middle of the night, on holidays, weekends, etc. You can reach us at ANY time! We offer a pick up service starting at $50, depending on your location and size of the pet, or we can make arrangements to meet you here at our office.

Pricing varies and is primarily based on the weight of your pet, but if you visit our website we have a price list for your convenience. Please also note that all pets receive a free tribute page on our website - this is totally optional and we encourage owners to send us pictures!

Our mission is very clear: Despite the heartbreak and sorrow of losing a beloved pet, we want to make the journey as comforting as possible. We want you, the pet owner, to be able to feel at ease with our services and what we do here. When we hear people say, "You made a difficult time so much easier" we know we did our job and delight in making a negative circumstance into a positive experience.

🦔 Compassionate In-Home Pet Euthanasia by Peter Pagano

When the time comes to say goodbye, where it happens matters. Peter comes to your home so your dog or cat can pass peacefully in a familiar, loving environment — surrounded by the sights, smells, and people they know.

Peter provides gentle, respectful in-home pet euthanasia in Chadds Ford, PA, serving pet parents throughout Delaware County and surrounding areas including Wilmington, Philadelphia, Chester, West Chester, Newark, Camden, Norristown, Reading, Lancaster, Pottstown. Each visit is paced entirely around you and your pet — there is no rush, no cold clinic setting, and no moment spent away from home.

What should I expect during Peter's visit?

When Peter arrives, they will take time to meet you and your pet, answer any questions you have, and ensure you feel comfortable before anything begins. There is no rush.

The visit typically has three stages. First, a sedative is administered to help your pet relax completely — most pets become calm and drowsy within a few minutes. Second, once your pet is fully at ease, the final medication is given. The process is gentle and painless, and your pet will simply drift off to sleep. Third, Peter will confirm the passing and give you as much time as you need to say goodbye. You are welcome to hold your pet, have family members present, or simply sit quietly together. The entire visit is guided entirely by you.
