How did you hone your craft?

I have years of experience working with animals at veterinary clinics, shelters and education. My book learning consists of an Animal Science degree, Reiki Master, Animal Communication coursework and Healing Touch for Animals coursework. Book learning can only go so far. The hands on, in person work with animals is where I have learned the most.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?

As strange as it may sound, talk to your pet. Let them know what is going on, what their job is, and that you will take care of them.
