I'm a painter who loves painting nature, but my real passion is painting pets.
It started one day in an open studio session, when I attempted to paint a dog portrait. With the help of our studio teacher, who is an accomplished artist, she gave me a few tips to improve my painting.
I was thrilled when I finished the painting and she told me I had a talent for painting pets.
So that was the start about 10 years ago. I have a large portfolio of pet portraits that I have done through the years.
Recently I have been painting small colorful pet portraits which people love to give as gifts. They can even be hung in a Christmas tree.
