Loving In-My-Home Cat Sitting Care For CATS! - Cincinnati, OH
**CATS, JUST CATS!** Loving in-my-home boarding care for cats - I've been involved with animal rescue for about 15 years (national and local disaster response, hoarding cases, etc.); currently active with a local cat rescue group. I've learned a lot over the years about veterinary care; and have provided veterinary and hospice care when needed. I'm comfortable administering oral medications, providing sub-q fluids and syringe feeding when required (if subject isn't too unwilling!).
Numerous cats have received boarding care at my home over the years, as well as numerous foster cats & kittens available for adoption. Visiting cats are housed in spacious enclosures (~4x4x5), provided with toys to play with; love & attention, and sometimes, (depending on cats' personalities) can be allowed out to explore & play with interesting tunnels and cat towers and toys in the cat area. They're fed 2 or 3 times daily (depending on what home schedule they're used to) and checked on & petted numerous times throughout the day.

I'm self-employed as a Real Estate Agent & work from my home office, so it makes in-home cat care very convenient.
I already foster numerous cats & kittens for the cat rescue group I'm involved with; have a great set-up to care for a few more!
**BONUS: You can feel good that boarding fees earned will go toward the medical & daily care & support of the cats that I rescue & foster & help get adopted out into new homes.
Visiting cats are kept secure and safe in a specific cat area with several large playpen-type cages, spacious enclosures and a play area with lots of scratching posts & cat towers & toys. Care is taken to clean and disinfect enclosures, litter boxes, bowls, bedding, toys, etc. to try to minimize spread of germs.
My home provides a tranquil, smoke-free environment with 2 adults; no children or dogs (We've had a couple dogs in the past, but none currently). There are 3 adult cats that we claim as our own, plus a couple of long-term medical issue fosters (that probably aren't going anywhere), and a variety of foster cats & kittens waiting to be adopted.
(Located in Mason; conveniently close to I-75 and the Liberty Mall exit.)
WHAT TO EXPECT? CATS - they're not usually very comfortable at first in new surroundings - so I follow their lead. If they want petting and cuddles; I'm happy to oblige but if they'd rather observe from a corner or behind something, or from inside their carrier; I respect that too. I provide toys in case they'd like to play (maybe bat at a feather wand?); soft bedding in case they'd prefer to sit back & watch.
CATS - What kind of purrsonality does your cat have? Outgoing & confident or more reserved? What food are they eating (good idea to bring it, and keep them eating the same so their digestive system doesn't get messed up & cause diarrhea). Can they have treats? Are they taking any medication? Do they have any food allergies?
** For their safety, please bring your kitty in a carrier!
** And for MY safety, it would be great if you'd clip their claws prior to their visit!
