Laurie now offers distance reiki sessions for your fur baby. During a Reiki session, please understand that they Always lead the session. It's up to them if they want to receive it or not. I will ask their permission first before I begin. Because dogs and cats are extremely intuitive and sensitive to energies, I found that many prefer to have the distance Reiki as it provides no pressure and enables them to relax while receiving the energy. Often during a session they will relax and even fall asleep. While other times they need to release and go outside to potty. It depends on the individual animal. Reiki goes where it needs to go.
Laurie makes house calls to barns to provide equine bodywork and Reiki to your horse. She infuses Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) meridian line therapy, gentle acupressure, stretching and massage techniques in order to release tension and relieve pain in the horses muscles, joints and connective tissues. Using a very light touch along acupoints and meridian lines, Laurie listens and watches for key responses from the horse that allows him to become unguarded from his natural herding instinct and relax into the treatment. Joint mobility and range of motion techniques are applied to increase flexibility while releasing restrictions.
