Traverse Bay Humane Society is a 100 percent donor-funded, no-kill, non-profit corporation that offers a temporary home to companion animals. Every day, we work toward achieving our mission of offering warm shelter, veterinary services, and personal attention to all the animals in our care, as well as proactive methods to control pet overpopulation. The shelter is funded solely by donations, grants, fundraisers, and shelter operations. Little Traverse Bay Humane Society is led by a staff and board of dedicated animal lovers willing to work hard to improve the lives of our four-legged friends. Our top priority is to care for the animals who need us the most. We believe these animals warrant our best effort, and despite being “ownerless,” deserve a loving place to call home.
