Customer Reviews

I cannot recommend this company more. They offer an incredible service with remarkable compassion. I have read multiple articles about putting your pet to sleep when it is time. All indicated how important it is for the pet to be with his/her people in comfortable surroundings. Lap of Love comes to the home forgoing that uncomfortable trip to the vet office. The superb, compassionate veterinarian gently administers medication leading to a most peaceful passing. Various options are also offered for the remains. - Ballwin, Missouri

I don't do this often. But in this instance, I must leave a review for this wonderful company. I cannot speak highly enough of Lap of Love. What they do is special. Everyone from the reception staff, as well as Dr. Dawnetta were unbelievably kind, thoughtful, and caring throughout the process. The reception staff was ready, willing and able to take care of all our needs including a change to our appointment date, but also did so with great care and understanding. On the day, Dr. Dawnetta was exactly who we needed. A kind soul, with nothing but love to give and a guiding hand through the process of losing one of our beloved family members. All of the people at Lap of Love are truly an inspiration. Thank you for what you do. - St. Louis, MO

I still think about my sweet Ginger and her journey to rainbow bridge and how Lap of Love helped guide us. Her last few moments were peaceful and our little, baby girl dog was truly surrounded by love. I miss her every day. We could not have chosen a better way to let her go. - San Francisco, CA - June 2025

💙 Compassionate In-Home Pet Euthanasia by Lap of Love

When the time comes to say goodbye, where it happens matters. Lap of Love comes to your home so your dog or cat can pass peacefully in a familiar, loving environment — surrounded by the sights, smells, and people they know.

Lap of Love provides gentle, respectful in-home pet euthanasia in Morgan County, GA, serving pet parents throughout Morgan County and surrounding areas including Atlanta, Athens, Lawrenceville, Duluth, Gainesville, Conyers, Covington, Monroe, Madison, Winder. Each visit is paced entirely around you and your pet — there is no rush, no cold clinic setting, and no moment spent away from home.

What should I expect during Lap of Love's visit?

When Lap of Love arrives, they will take time to meet you and your pet, answer any questions you have, and ensure you feel comfortable before anything begins. There is no rush.

The visit typically has three stages. First, a sedative is administered to help your pet relax completely — most pets become calm and drowsy within a few minutes. Second, once your pet is fully at ease, the final medication is given. The process is gentle and painless, and your pet will simply drift off to sleep. Third, Lap of Love will confirm the passing and give you as much time as you need to say goodbye. You are welcome to hold your pet, have family members present, or simply sit quietly together. The entire visit is guided entirely by you.
